We hope you all had a relaxing festive break and send you best wishes for 2022!
The past year has certainly had its challenges for all of us, but on balance it has been a positive one. We as a team have enjoyed working from home and plan to continue to do so for the time being, still catching up regularly over lunches and, of course, online. In addition to our new garden studio, we have a base at Felaw Maltings for more formal meetings and training – and welcome visits from clients in person, in either location or meeting via Zoom.
Working from home does present some challenges, especially as we are now needing more resources again and will be looking to add a new member to our team very soon – but I am grateful to say that the team have worked brilliantly through this challenging time, and we have all benefitted from a better work/life balance.
On a really positive note, we celebrated our 20th business birthday anniversary in September 2021. We haven’t had the big party I hoped for, but maybe we will do something this year to thank our clients, suppliers and friends for their loyalty and support.
As in previous years, we didn’t send cards this Christmas, but are making our usual donation to charity – this year to Survivors in Transition. We have recently started working with them and they do an amazing job supporting people through deep trauma.
New Service
You may be interested to know that this year I have retrained in photography, a passion from my student days. It was partly for my own enjoyment, but it had also become apparent that small businesses need good imagery and video for social media, and so we will soon be offering reasonably priced, creative photos/memes/videos to add an extra and valuable dimension to your campaigns. The new studio is a beautiful light contemporary space, so it is perfect for this and has already been used by a number of clients with great results.
