Google considers two main factors when ranking web sites. It looks at the on-page content – for example the keywords that are located in the copy, the titles, the alt text (text behind images) and the link text. It also looks at off-page factors – who is linking to you, and what they say about you (the words used in and around the link text).
What is a link building campaign?
A link building campaign works to increase the number of quality inbound links to a web site. We set up links for our clients in a number of different ways, which include reciprocal link building, directory submissions, article submissions and blog posting.
Reciprocal linking
Reciprocal links can be organised with other complementary web sites. To set these up we contact web sites of a similar theme and ask them to exchange links.
We will ensure quality links are chosen to boost your position in the search engines whilst maintaining your reputation. All links that are added to your site are at your discretion, and we will remove any if they do not meet your approval.
Directory submissions
Submitting a site to relevant industry specific directories is an excellent way of gaining high quality one-way inbound links. These often charge a small submission fee for annual / lifetime inclusion. From our research, you can select any that you would like to be listed in.
Article submissions
Article submissions offer another powerful way of creating good quality inbound links. We research and write content around the phrases you are targeting and manually submit these to a range of article sites. In exchange for the content, at the bottom of the article we can add a paragraph of text about your business, with a number of links that point to your most important pages.
Blog posting
Adding appropriate comments to blog sites is another method we use to build up a client's link popularity. We also create blogs for clients and update them on a weekly basis with posts that link back to the client's main web site.
The next step is to submit your site to the major search engines
